Do you ever feel like your dating life mirrors every Taylor Swift song ever written? I know I definitely have moments like that. Like seriously what the eff? Whenever this happens, I think to myself, this would be a really great song... and then I come back to reality and remember that I am not a song writer nor can I carry a tune in a bucket. I'm just a girl living her life, hoping for love, and looking in all the wrong places.
But in all honesty when I stop and look back at all of the ridiculous dates that I've been on and all of the slightly bizarre people that I've met, I can't help but laugh. We're all just doing the best that we can in life and we all want the same thing, which is love. So here I am totally confessing that I am grateful at this point in my life to have had all of the dating experiences that I have had so far. I am happy about all of the crazy folk that I have met because at the end of the day it was just a silly moment and most of them taught me more about myself (and seriously upped my patience factor) and at the very least helped me to grow. After taking a pause from the dating scene, I'm ready to put myself back on the crazy train. So here's to the next batch of adventurous dates!
